The St John of Bridlington Assist Group has been established to meet the demands of those in need in the Parish. The areas of need include home visits to the elderly and sick, and coming to the help of others who can be assisted in various ways. Funds are raised by undertaking different activities, including a monthly coffee morning.
Meetings are held once a month, on the Wednesday before the Second Sunday in the month. They take place either in the Presbytery, or in the Church Hall, as circumstances dictate, at 6.30 p.m.
The ASSIST Group run one coffee morning a month on the second Sunday of the month, after both Sunday masses.
